Birthday Decorating Tips
Decorating for a child's first birthday is
very simple. While decorating is very basic, we should keep
safety in mind for the birthday baby. Keeping safety and
practicality and fun in mind, here are a few ideas.
Balloons Balloons are a must for any
child's birthday. Children of all ages love balloons.
You can blow them up yourself and leave them all over the floor or
fill them with helium so that they float. The one tip that I
have is that you not fill them to the max. Little children
love to squeeze them and they will surely pop easily if filled too
much.
Streamers, Crepe Paper,
Banners and Wall Decor Decorating can take some
time to finish and just an instant to be destroyed. To help
your creativity last throughout the entire party, hand decor out of
the reach of the children. Decorating table with crepe paper
is a sure fire way to have crepe decorating the floor within the
first hour.
Table
Decor Plastic table covers are your
friends. A spill is guaranteed at any children's party.
While it can't help the floor or carpet, it makes cleaning up the
table quick and easy. Make sure centerpieces are made of
nonbreakable items. Opt for child friendly decor.
Anything that may shatter is probably not a good idea.
Children and
Adults If adding decor low is your style or
plastic table covers make you cringe, I have a solution.
Separate the children's area from the adults. Give them their
own table and play area. Give them the plastic table covers
and high decor. Then decorate the adults area the way you
like.
Just remember its a your child's first
birthday party! Make sure they have fun although they won't
remember it! Take lots of pictures and video if you can.
It will make a great remember when video or scrapbook in the
future. When they are old enough to remember, they will
appreciate the great party they had!
